The Government Online Secure Site enables public and private subscribers to access the Complete Government Online Database, using a standard or an extended search facility. Search methods include - by organization type (eg Central or Regional Government), by government region, by alphabetic listing, by organisation or employee name, by departmental responsibility (eg Finance and Procurement) or by job title. The extended search obviously offers a free text search for those looking to interrogate the database further. Multiple users from client organizations can access the website simultaneously. Additional information on the Secure Site includes a Government Online Registered Supplier Profile for those companies that want to promote themselves directly to government users of the site. Tender guidance, policy and pre-qualification information will shortly be made available for download from the same location.
