Information Technology
The supply,
development and support of a web content management system to replace
the an Organisation's existing Intranet. The proposed solution is
also required to be used in the future to replace the Organisation's

integrating with Microsoft SharePoint.

IT Framework Agreement
Computer related services. Provision of a
dynamically scalable and specialist hosting environment for the
delivery of geospatial data. Organisation is reviewing the
computing infrastructure currently deployed to service our customers.
To support our architecture vision we will be seeking a supplier(s)
to provide a number of computing services that enable us to more
efficiently host our applications, provide web services and
electronically deliver our products to our customers throughout the
UK and overseas. The provision of thee services will be broken into 3
Lots; 1. Supply our product data and managed content through
electronic means. a. Re-hosting our existing open access download
centre that uses a token-based content distribution network b. And
most importantly provide the infrastructure so that we may also
deliver our licensed products securely from a centralised content
managed repository directly to our customers facilitated by client
based download manager software. 2. Provision of a secure and
dynamically scalable hosted environment for applications and data. 3.
A purpose-built database for the storage and retrieval of Resource
Description Framework (RDF) metadata also known as a Triplestore.
